A native of Harlem, Columbia County, Georgia, Sheila Grider Wahman graduated from Harlem High School and then went on to receive a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Augusta University. Sheila worked in various fields in the corporate sector until in 2000 when she became a Columbia County Sheriff’s Deputy and then a Magistrate Judge for Columbia County.  Finding passion of and many years experience in the law, Sheila decided to purse a law degree and received her Juris Doctor from John Marshall Law School. She began work as an attorney with Fleming and Nelson LLP of Evans handling governmental law.  She now is in private practice with focus on Family Law.

Sheila serves on the Board of Directors for Columbia County DFCS and is the current Chairman of the Board.
